EMEA Graduate Program

Are you ready?
We are looking for a Master's degree graduate with interest towards technical sales, system sales, mechanical application engineering and leadership. You are keen to discover Parker Hannifin and how its solutions can be used to help the clients. Overall, you have strong business acumen, interest towards engineering and want to work in a position where technical engineering matters walk hand to hand with sales.
As a person you are not shy when it comes to being and presenting in front of people and overall have great social skills. You enjoy working in a multicultural environment and adjectives such as; curious, positive and agile describes you well. Language wise you have strong English. Location for the first 6 month period is Borås, but please notice that due to the nature of the program you have to be able to be mobile during the two year time.

We are seeking a passionate and motivated Application Engineer to join our Application Engineering team, focusing on customers within the Industrial, Marine, and Energy markets. In this role, you will play a key part in developing innovative industrial low-pressure applications for both fluid and gas systems.
About the role
As an Application Engineer you collaborate with our sales teams and various divisions to develop our offerings of products and systems to our Nordic customers. You will closely work with our customers to build strong relationship and be involved in the entire journey from idea to implementation of a tailored solution. The work is often in project form and the products are usually customized solutions where the scope of the projects and operation can vary. Focus will be on low pressure solution with technologies like pneumatics and low-pressure connectors for thermal management solutions within applications like data centers, energy storage and power conversion etc. This role requires teamwork and collaboration with cross-functional teams to explore market channels and strengthen relationships with existing customers and partners.
Key responsibilities are
• Develop and maintain business by proposing technical solutions that help our customers to succeed with optimize solutions
• Build strong relationships by working closely with customers to evaluate their needs and understand their applications.
• Align expectations by gathering requirement specifications and business case information to ensure customer expectations are met with Parker’s capabilities.
• Coordinate or participate in cross organizational opportunities and leveraging team skills
• Commission solutions and provide trainings to customers to ensure the solution reaches its full potential.

Job Responsibilities:
Manage customer relationships and agreements in Sweden
Together with our GKAM develop and implement a business plan for the account to secure profitable growth
Build and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by co-ordinating the necessary Parker resources to meet customer needs

Carry out PPP follow-up, regular coaching, and annual Performance Assessments with all direct reports
Cooperate with other sales teams and resources to maximize growth

Support Parker division initiatives to maximize sales volume, introduce new services/products and exploit new routes to market, alongside the existing customer base.
Assure a sufficient project pipeline for the team to support growth

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
Technical understanding with an interest in sustainability and new technology
Good strategic understanding and ability
Documented strong leadership, coaching, and management skills at the international level and a strong cultural awareness
People orientation and a skilled and engaging teambuilder
Excellent communication skills in writing and verbally and with interpersonal communication skills as well as presentation skills
Fluency in a minimum of one Nordic language
Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
Experience from working in a similar Global Company.
10 to 15 years of experience in a KAM role.
