What we offer
Proving Grounds is a Section within the Department “Prototype Build & Verification” with 8 teams and a total of 160 employees. Our main purpose is to operate and development our Proving Grounds and test facilities and deliver result to customers. 
The test driver teams consist of approximately 50 test drivers, divided into Night shift, A- and B-shift. The main responsibility is to perform complete vehicle testing according to a diverse set of test codes. Main responsibility of the group is to deliver both best in class vehicle reports concerning deviations and faults as well as mileage and cycles on test cars. The team supports vehicle testing at the proving grounds as well as globally by participating on number of expeditions and acts as a general resource within the company when expert drivers are needed.

What you will do
Main responsibility of the test driver is to perform complete vehicle testing according to customer specifications. Test scope vary from detailed reporting of deviations and faults in English using VIRA report tool to pure mileage and cycle accumulation tests.
The test methods cover a wide range of areas, but the main areas of testing are base engine testing, durability testing, and reliability validation. As a test driver you will be responsible for planning your workday in order to meet each customer expectations.

As a test driver you will work 2-shift according to a 6 – week cycle including one weekend. All drivers follow an internal education program were the driver starts with simpler tests at relatively low speed and then grow into more advanced and demanding test codes over a period of approximately 2 years. 

To be successful in the role as test driver you also need to: 
• Actively contact item owner/customer and describe the problems. 
• Initiate and perform base analysis of found problems including reading fault codes
• Be able to use different log equipment to collect applicable data/recordings to pinpoint the problems 
• If applicable at test end, show the test car to appropriate audience and write reports
• Be able to represent the customer in the specific project/segment and provide a customer-oriented perspective on the complete vehicle experience 
• Deliver mileage and deviation reports to the complete vehicle projects

Do You fit the profile? 
We believe that you have at least 3-year high school in technical specialization or equivalent work experience. Good communication skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written, and a strong urge to develop and improve our products. 
You have an interest for new technology a talent for vehicle software and good general computer experience. 
Furthermore, to be considered for this position you need to have a B driver’s license and pass the driving test at Hällered Proving Ground. Please note that you can’t have previous injuries or problems with your neck and/or back since you will spend quite some time on a daily basis driving cars. 
This role is based in Hällered.

Om oss och rollen
91835 Hällered Workshop supporterar hela Engineering med bred kompetens inom komplettbil, både på provbanan Hällered men också på externa provplatser som vi bemannar. Fordonsteknikerna på Complete Vehicle Verification jobbar tätt tillsammans med Analysingenjörer och mjukvarufelsökare i teamet med olika expertiser, i gemensamt flöde med ett gemensamt mål – att vara en enabler för effektiv provning utan onödiga stillestånd, dygnet runt. 
Som fordonstekniker på 91835 är du stationerad på Hällered mellan Borås och Alingsås tillsammans med 160 andra medarbetare. Tjänsten är med arbetstider 2-skift (tidigt skift och sent skift varannan vecka med varannan fredag ledigt) där du kommer vara en viktig del i att hålla verkstaden i gång dygnet runt.

Hos oss får du ett spännande arbete med framtidens bilar i en miljö med engagerade kollegor och möjligheter att växa och utvecklas framåt. 
Arbetsuppgifterna i verkstaden sträcker sig från hårdvaru- och mjukvaruuppdateringar av testobjekt via testpreparering inför prov och installation av mätpunkter och mätsystem till felsökning i öppet batteri för våra programstyrda prov som rullar på provbanan. Utöver detta förser vi interna och externa kollegor som besöker provbanan med stöd för att säkerställa en effektiv provning.  
Resor i tjänsten förekommer, då i huvudsak till våra externa provplatser runt om i världen, men även deltagande i provningsexpeditioner världen över.  

Du och dina färdigheter
Vi söker dig som har en fordonsteknisk utbildning eller motsvarande i ryggen och som har haft liknande roller tidigare. Vi ser att du har kunskaper inom el, analys och felsökning samt har vana av att arbeta i olika system.
B-körkort och att kunna behärska både engelska och svenska, i tal och skrift, är krav för tjänsten.

Vehicle & Rig Testing – let’s introduce ourselves
Located 70 km outside of Gothenburg near Borås, Hällered Proving Ground is the hub for cutting-edge vehicle testing. With state-of-the-art test equipment we perform verification and validation activities to ensure durability, comfort, performance, reliability, and safety in our vehicles.  

The group Vehicle & Rig Testing perform objective verification and validation activities according to customer requirements within the areas of driverless, AD (Autonomous Drive), ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System), V2X (Vehicle to everything) and chassis objective testing (Vehicle dynamics and Clearance). We are performing the activities both in rigs and on the test track. During the winter season we also support expeditions at tracks in southern Europe and north of Sweden.

What you’ll do
As a Rig Engineer in the AD & ADAS Track Testing team you will use state-of-the-art equipment such as driverless steering robots and self-propelling soft targets to develop new world leading vehicle functions. In this dynamic field, where AD, ADAS, and V2X testing are ever-evolving, you'll join one of the world's most skilled teams within this area. This role not only offers opportunities for self-development but also encourages you to initiate and lead the development of future test methods, systems, and components. There will also be possibility to participate in research and investment projects.

Responsibilities
•    Plan, prepare, and execute tests on the test track.
•    Hold technical, operational, and safety responsibility for the test setup and procedure, including rigs and equipment.
•    Contribute to the improvement and maintenance of test equipment to meet existing and new testing and rating standards.
•    Participate in the development of new test methods in close collaboration with stakeholders.
•    Engage in the development of test equipment and digital tools within the area, often collaborating with other companies and universities.

What you’ll bring
As a Rig Engineer you will be a vital part of our skilled team dedicated to performing and advancing vehicle testing. Working collaboratively in an unpretentious manner, you're eager to contribute to the team's progress. On a personal level, you are therefore a team-oriented and innovative person with a positive and proactive attitude. The role also requires a strategic and hands-on mindset, allowing you to witness the seamless integration of your ideas into reality.

As the work will involve handling advanced measurement equipment, ensuring measurement accuracy and being able to troubleshoot and make corrections during testing when needed, sometimes under time pressure, an interest in working with hardware is preferred. As a person you’re also structured and well organized with a sense of quality and customer focus which will make you an ideal fit for this role. 

Education and Skills
* M.Sc. or experienced B.Sc. in Mechatronics, Electronics, or similar education.
* Good skills in Electronics, Control, and Automation.
* Some experience in programming, preferably in Python; C and C++ are also meritorious.


Other Requirements
* Fluent in English (spoken and written).
* Possess a Swedish B-driving license.


Additional Meritorious Skills
* Knowledge of measurements and signal processing.
* Familiarity with Vector tools such as CANalyzer, CANoe, and CAPL.
* Knowledge in communication networks such as LIN, CAN, Ethernet, SOME/IP.
* Experience working with hardware and/or measurement equipment.
* Have some technology and mechanical interest.

Vem är du?

För att vara aktuellför rollen behöver du vara utbildad elektriker i grunden och vi ser gärna att du har en eftergymnasial utbildning inom el, bygg eller motsvarande och är auktoriserad elinstallatör för lågspänning. Vad kommer du att göra?

I rollen som elanläggningsansvarig kommer du jobba med ett brett spektrum av frågor som berör elsäkerhet, el-infrastruktur och strategier inom elektrifiering och elförsörjning inom Proving Grounds anläggningar i Sverige. Du driver och supporterar även pågående projekt inom anläggningen med din expertkunskap inom el-området. I rollen kommer du ansvara för elanläggningens skötsel genom att besluta om regler, organisation och arbetsrutiner i verksamheten. Du driver utvecklingen för att möta framtidens behov med avseende på elförsörjning och planerar in driftåtgärder och är kontaktperson för eldistributörer och leverantörer av tele- och IT-tjänster. Som elanläggningsansvarig ansvarar du även för att införskaffa, utföra och vidmakthålla säkra underhålls- och skötselvänliga elektriska anläggningar och elektriska utrustningar. Du kommer även ingå i Volvo Cars nätverk för elanläggningsansvariga och delta i Volvo Cars egenkontrollprogram.
Du kommer att driva egna projekt och delta som sakkunnig i pågående utvecklingsprojekt relaterat till utvecklingen av provbanor som till exempel elförsörjning av anläggningen, installation av snabbladdare, byggnation av nya lokaler med mera. Utöver Volvo Cars primära testbana i Hällered ingår även ett ansvar kopplat till våra två provplatser i Norrland, vilket innebär att resor ingår i tjänsten.
Eftersom detta är en central roll för verksamheten och täcker ett stort område, kommer en period på upp till sju månader finnas tillgänglig för kompetensöverföring från nuvarande elsäkerhetsansvarige, som därefter går i pension.

Vem är du?

För att vara aktuellför rollen behöver du vara utbildad elektriker i grunden och vi ser gärna att du har en eftergymnasial utbildning inom el, bygg eller motsvarande och är auktoriserad elinstallatör för lågspänning. Du har erfarenhet av projektledning och god kommunikationsförmåga. En förutsättning för jobbet är att du har god datorvana och innehar B-körkort. Du är flytande i både svenska och engelska, i tal och skrift.

Volvo Car Group owns and operates Hällered Proving Ground (HPG). The plant is located 15 km from Borås / 65 km from Gothenburg and shared between Volvo Car Group and AB Volvo. Verification and validation at the proving ground is an important part of Volvo Cars development process. Durability, comfort, performance, reliability and safety are qualities that are constantly tested in our tracks, in which we operate around the clock.
The group Vehicle & Rig Testing today consists of 22 people, including both engineers and technicians. We perform objective verification and validation activities according to the customer requirements in the area of Driverless, Autonomous Drive (AD), Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS), Vehicle dynamics and Clearance. We also support all teams at Hällered as well as internal and external customers with measurement support.
The measurement support at Hällered buys, handle, repair and perform maintenance of metrology equipment. We have the technical knowledge about the equipment and we cover the most measurable areas within physical units (temperature, pressure, voltage, …) and Network communication (LIN, CAN, ethernet, flexray, …). 

What you will do

Now we are looking for a new colleague to our Metrology team at HPG. The role will mainly be handling our equipment and loans to our internal and external customers, the “first line of support” regarding measurement equipment and control/verification of returned equipment. This role also includes a close cooperation with the Metrology Engineer, different testing teams, stakeholders and suppliers. This role will also support the main warehouse at HPG when needed. This is a role where it is possible to continuously learn new things and develop your technical skills.

We believe that you have an education within technology and solid knowledge in working with computers and MS Office. You have a Swedish driver license and are fluent in both Swedish and English, written and spoken.

Vad kommer du att göra?
Som underhållsingenjör kommer du ansvara för att planerade och akuta drift- och underhållsåtgärder samordnas och utförs i de tilldelade bestånden (riggar, fastigheter/byggnader/lokaler). Det ingår också att ta emot ärenden/felanmälningar från brukare samt tillse att ärenden/fel åtgärdas. 
Fokus för uppdraget är att löpande ombesörja beståndets drift- och underhållsåtgärder och föra HPGs talan i gränssnitten mot fastighetsägaren. 
Allt för att maximera nyttjandegrad och kundnöjdhet.
Du bistår vid framtagning av FUH planer för tilldelat bestånd i samverkan med fastighetsägaren och arbetsleder ett mindre operationellt rigg/fastighetsteam bestående av elektriker, VVS och mekaniker kompetens (i vissa fall även entreprenörer, praktikanter och sommarjobbare).
I rollen ingår att tillse att beståndet uppfyller lagkrav, miljötillstånd samt andra tillstånd som krävs av myndigheter. Du medverkar vid upprättande och upphandling av serviceavtal, entreprenader/ underhållsprojekt. Du ansvarar för att ronderingar och egenkontroller genomförs enligt plan samt leder och deltar i tekniska utredningar.

Vi förväntar att du föreslår och genomför förslag till förbättringar och att du deltar vid upprättande av ledningssystem, verksamhetshandbok, rutiner, instruktioner. Under året kommer ditt fokus vara att löpande ombesörja beståndets drift- och underhållsåtgärder.

Vad erbjuder vi?

Hällered Main Workshop supporterar hela R&D med bred kompetens inom komplettbil, både på provbanan Hällered och på externa provplatser som vi bemannar. Fordonsteknikerna på Complete Vehicle Verification jobbar tätt tillsammans med Analysingenjörer och SW felsökare i teamet med olika expertområden, i gemensamt flöde med ett gemensamt mål – att vara en ’’enabler’’ för effektiv provning på provbanan utan onödiga stillestånd, dygnet runt.

Som Fordonstekniker på är du stationerad på Hällered mellan Borås och Alingsås tillsammans med 160 andra medarbetare. Tjänsten är förlagd på dagtid.

Arbetsuppgifterna i verkstaden sträcker sig från hårdvaru- och mjukvaruuppdateringar av testobjekt via testpreparering inför prov och installation av mätpunkter och mätsystem till felsökning i öppet batteri för våra programstyrda prov som rullar på provbanan. Utöver detta förser vi interna och externa kollegor som besöker provbanan med stöd för att säkerställa en effektiv provning.
Resor i tjänsten förekommer, då i huvudsak till våra externa provplatser runt om i världen, men även deltagande i expeditioner.

Du och dina färdigheter

Vi söker dig som har en fordonsteknisk utbildning eller motsvarande i ryggen och som har haft liknande roller tidigare. Vi ser att du har kunskaper inom el, analys och felsökning samt har vana av att arbeta i olika system.
B-körkort och att kunna behärska både engelska och svenska, i tal och skrift, är krav för tjänsten.

Volvo Car Group owns and operates Hällered Proving Ground (HPG). The plant is located 15 km from Borås / 65 km from Gothenburg and shared between Volvo Car Group and AB Volvo. Verification and validation at the proving ground is an important part of Volvo Cars development process. Durability, comfort, performance, reliability and safety are qualities that are constantly tested in our tracks, in which we operate around the clock.
The group Vehicle & Rig Testing today consists of 22 people, including both engineers and technicians. We perform objective verification and validation activities according to the customer requirements in the area of Driverless, Autonomous Drive (AD), Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS), Vehicle dynamics and Clearance. We also support all teams at Hällered as well as internal and external customers with measurement support.
The measurement support at Hällered buys, handle, repair and perform maintenance of metrology equipment. We have the technical knowledge about the equipment and we cover the most measurable areas within physical units (temperature, pressure, voltage, …) and Network communication (LIN, CAN, ethernet, flexray, …). 

What you will do

Now we are looking for a new colleague to our Metrology team at HPG. The role will mainly be handling our equipment and loans to our internal and external customers, the “first line of support” regarding measurement equipment and control/verification of returned equipment. This role also includes a close cooperation with the Metrology Engineer, different testing teams, stakeholders and suppliers. This role will also support the main warehouse at HPG when needed. This is a role where it is possible to continuously learn new things and develop your technical skills. 

Do you fit the profile?

We believe that you have an education within technology and solid knowledge in working with computers and MS Office. You have a Swedish driver license and are fluent in both Swedish and English, written and spoken.
It is meritorious if you have knowledge and experience in the fields of metrology, testing technology, network communication and signal processing. Knowledge is Axxos is meritorious.

Vad erbjuder vi?
Hällered Main Workshop supporterar hela R&D med bred kompetens inom komplettbil, både på provbanan Hällered och på externa provplatser som vi bemannar. Fordonsteknikerna på Complete Vehicle Verification jobbar tätt tillsammans med Analysingenjörer och SW felsökare i teamet med olika expertområden, i gemensamt flöde med ett gemensamt mål – att vara en ’’enabler’’ för effektiv provning på provbanan utan onödiga stillestånd, dygnet runt.

Som Fordonstekniker på är du stationerad på Hällered mellan Borås och Alingsås tillsammans med 160 andra medarbetare. Tjänsten är förlagd på 2-skift (tidigt skift och sent skift varannan vecka med varannan fredag ledigt) där du kommer vara en viktig del i att hålla verkstaden i gång dygnet runt.

Arbetsuppgifterna i verkstaden sträcker sig från hårdvaru- och mjukvaruuppdateringar av testobjekt via testpreparering inför prov och installation av mätpunkter och mätsystem till felsökning i öppet batteri för våra programstyrda prov som rullar på provbanan. Utöver detta förser vi interna och externa kollegor som besöker provbanan med stöd för att säkerställa en effektiv provning.
Resor i tjänsten förekommer, då i huvudsak till våra externa provplatser runt om i världen, men även deltagande i expeditioner.

Du och dina färdigheter
Vi söker dig som har en fordonsteknisk utbildning eller motsvarande i ryggen och som har haft liknande roller tidigare. Vi ser att du har kunskaper inom el, analys och felsökning samt har vana av att arbeta i olika system.
B-körkort och att kunna behärska både engelska och svenska, i tal och skrift, är krav för tjänsten.

HPG ligger strax norr om Borås och ca 80 km från Volvo Cars anläggningar i Göteborg. Det är här morgondagens komponenter och fordon provas långt innan produktionen inleds. Vad kommer du att utföra?
Som en av tre förarinstruktörer i Volvo Car Driving Academy kommer din huvuduppgift vara att planera in och genomföra förarutbildningar för Volvo Cars, Volvo Group samt externa kunder. Du kommer hålla i både teoretiska utbildningar samt praktiska körscenarion i varierande svårighetsnivåer. Med dig kommer teamet vara stationerade på Volvo Cars provbana i Hällered men ni kommer även utbilda på andra provbanor i Norrland samt Kina och USA för att säkra Volvo Cars provbehov.

Det är av högsta vikt för Volvo Cars att vi har ett fungerande förarutbildningsprogram för att säkerställa att prov kan genomföras på ett säkert sätt så att Volvo Cars utvecklingsprogram kan fullföljas. Detta är också en förutsättning för genomförande av expeditioner samt tillgång till externa provbanor.

What we offer
Proving Grounds is a Section within the Department “A&V Environments” with 8 teams and a total of 160 employees. Our main purpose is to operate and development our Proving Grounds and test facilities and deliver result to customers. 
The test driver teams consist of approximately 50 test drivers, divided into Night shift, A- and B-shift. The main responsibility is to perform complete vehicle testing according to a diverse set of test codes. Main responsibility of the group is to deliver both best in class vehicle reports concerning deviations and faults as well as mileage and cycles on test cars. The team supports vehicle testing at the proving grounds as well as globally by participating on number of expeditions and acts as a general resource within the company when expert drivers are needed.

What you will do
Main responsibility of the test driver is to perform complete vehicle testing according to customer specifications. Test scope vary from detailed reporting of deviations and faults in English using VIRA report tool to pure mileage and cycle accumulation tests.
The test methods cover a wide range of areas, but the main areas of testing are base engine testing, durability testing, and reliability validation. As a test driver you will be responsible for planning your workday in order to meet each customer expectations.

As a test driver you will work 2-shift according to a 6 – week cycle including one weekend. All drivers follow an internal education program were the driver starts with simpler tests at relatively low speed and then grow into more advanced and demanding test codes over a period of approximately 2 years. 

To be successful in the role as test driver you also need to: 
• Actively contact item owner/customer and describe the problems. 
• Initiate and perform base analysis of found problems including reading fault codes
• Be able to use different log equipment to collect applicable data/recordings to pinpoint the problems 
• If applicable at test end, show the test car to appropriate audience and write reports
• Be able to represent the customer in the specific project/segment and provide a customer-oriented perspective on the complete vehicle experience 
• Deliver mileage and deviation reports to the complete vehicle projects

Do You fit the profile? 
We believe that you have at least 3-year high school in technical specialization or equivalent work experience. Good communication skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written, and a strong urge to develop and improve our products. 
You have an interest for new technology a talent for vehicle software and good general computer experience. 
Furthermore, to be considered for this position you need to have a B driver’s license and pass the driving test at Hällered Proving Ground. Please note that you can’t have previous injuries or problems with your neck and/or back since you will spend quite some time on a daily basis driving cars. 
This role is based in Hällered.

Vad kommer du att utföra? 
Du kommer att vara en frontperson för kunder och besökare i många aspekter. En av huvuduppgifterna är att supportera och administrera bokningsförfrågningar från Volvo Cars, Volvo Group och externa kunder. Inom bokningshanteringen ingår att samarbeta med Trafikledning och/eller andra berörda eller att hänvisa kunder till alternativa tidpunkter och/eller banavsnitt. Du kommer även vara behjälplig att förmedla och registrera bokningar för Volvo Cars på Astra Zero. Detta är en provbana där scenarier byggs upp för att testa eller certifiera nya trafiksäkerhetslösningar som utvecklas.
Du kommer att sköta registrering och utfärdande av eller förlängningar av passerkort och förarlicenskort, lämna ut och registrera transponder & radio, planera specialprov, vara projektledare vid film/foto sessioner eller andra event. Du kommer även ha ansvar för den digitala loggboken för provvagnar – eLoggboken och kunna delta i uppdateringar och utvecklandet av denna. Vidare har du ansvar för utveckling och implementering av nya funktioner i bokningssystemet BooSt, fotoutrustningen till passerkortssystemet samt systemansvar för det digitala infosystemet Wallboard. 
I rollen ansvarar du även för att vara business support för Proving Grounds ledningsgrupp

Dina färdigheter och du som person
Du är en van användare av Microsoft Windows och Office 365’s alla ingående program, du är nyfiken på och lär dig gärna nya digitala hjälpmedel eller dataprogram samt har lätt för att förstå hur dessa fungerar. Som person har du också lätt att se hur man kan utveckla processer, verktyg eller arbetssätt och vill gärna hitta effektivare sätt att göra saker på. Du uttrycker dig väl på svenska och engelska i både i tal och skrift och har ett svenskt B-körkort. Goda kunskaper i Sharepoint är meriterande.

What we do
Hällered Proving Ground is located 70 km outside of Gothenburg and shared between Volvo Car Group and AB Volvo. With state-of-the-art test equipment we perform verification and validation activities to ensure durability, comfort, performance, reliability, and safety in our vehicles. 

The Vehicle & Rig Testing team consists of both engineers and test technicians organized in three agile teams. We perform objective verification and validation activities according to customer requirements within Vehicle Dynamics, Clearance, Driverless, Autonomous Drive and Advanced Driver Assistance System. During winter season, we also support expeditions at tracks in southern Europe.

At Hällered Proving Ground we are a tight and ambitious group working in an agile way. You will work closely with people with different technical focus, which provides unexpected possibilities to new learnings. We work closely with CAE, attribute, and construction teams in Gothenburg.

What we offer
You will work with complete vehicle testing within the area of Vehicle Dynamics (ride, handling and steering) and Clearance (engine, ground, and wheel clearance) both on test track and in rigs using state of the art measuring equipment. We support the subjective test engineers with the objective data they need for the chassis tuning and we also verify fulfillment of customer and legal requirements.

You will have a close collaboration with the customer and be responsible for planning, prepping the test object, performing the test and report the results. You will also participate in the development of new test methods and developing our rigs and equipment to meet feature needs and requirements. You will be technology and operational responsible for rigs and equipment within the group. You will also have the chance to supplier contacts and to be involved in procurement of new equipment.

Competence is Important
We see that you have a Bachelor of Science or equivalent experience as a test engineer. You will also need to have knowledge in measurement technology and signal processing as well as programming skills in Python, Matlab or similar. An interest and knowledge in cars are meritorious, as well as knowledge in vehicle dynamics and chassis technology. Swedish Driver’s license B is a must, BE is meritorious. We are a global company, and you need to be proficient in English, verbally and written, as well as having an interest and ability to travel.

What we offer
Proving Grounds is a Section within the Department “A&V Environments” with 8 teams and a total of 160 employees. Our main purpose is to operate and development our Proving Grounds and test facilities and deliver result to customers. 
The test driver teams consist of approximately 50 test drivers, divided into Night shift, A- and B-shift. The main responsibility is to perform complete vehicle testing according to a diverse set of test codes. Main responsibility of the group is to deliver both best in class vehicle reports concerning deviations and faults as well as mileage and cycles on test cars. The team supports vehicle testing at the proving grounds as well as globally by participating on number of expeditions. They also act as a general resource within the company when expert drivers are needed.

What you will do
Main responsibility of the test driver is to perform complete vehicle testing according to customer specifications. Test scope vary from detailed reporting of deviations and faults in English using VIRA report tool to pure mileage and cycle accumulation tests.
The test methods cover a wide range of areas, but the main areas of testing are base engine testing, durability testing, and reliability validation. As a test driver you will be responsible for planning your workday in order to meet each customer expectations.

As a test driver you will work 2-shift according to a 6 – week cycle including one weekend. All drivers follow an internal education program were the driver starts with simpler tests at relatively low speed and then grow into more advanced and demanding test codes over a period of approximately 2 years. 

To be successful in the role as test driver you also need to: 
• Actively contact item owner/customer and describe the problems. 
• Initiate and perform base analysis of found problems including reading fault codes
• Be able to use different log equipment to collect applicable data/recordings to pinpoint the problems 
• If applicable at test end, show the test car to appropriate audience and write reports
• Be able to represent the customer in the specific project/segment and provide a customer-oriented perspective on the complete vehicle experience 
• Deliver mileage and deviation reports to the complete vehicle projects

Do You fit the profile? 
We believe that you have at least 3-year high school in technical specialization or equivalent work experience. Good communication skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written, and a strong urge to develop and improve our products. 
You have an interest for new technology a talent for vehicle software and good general computer experience. 
Furthermore, to be considered for this position you need to have a B driver’s license and pass the driving test at Hällered Proving Ground. Please note that you can’t have previous injuries or problems with your neck and/or back since you will spend quite some time on a daily basis driving cars.

Where you’ll belong
We are looking for a Product Owner to join the AD/ADAS track testing team within the group Vehicle & Rig Testing at Hällered Proving Ground. 

Hällered Proving Ground is our test track located 70 km outside of Gothenburg close to Borås. With state-of-the-art test equipment we perform verification and validation activities to ensure durability, comfort, performance, reliability, and safety in our vehicles.  

The group Vehicle & Rig Testing consists of both engineers and technicians. We perform objective verification and validation activities according to customer requirements within the areas of driverless, AD (Autonomous Drive), ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System), V2X (Vehicle to everything) and chassis objective testing (Vehicle dynamics and Clearance). We are performing the activities both in rigs and on the test track. During the winter season we also support expeditions at tracks in southern Europe and north of Sweden.

What you will do
We are looking for a passionate Product Owner for our AD, ADAS and driverless teams to drive the technical strategy forward and the development of a world class AD/ADAS track testing environment for Volvo Cars. 

As Product Owner you will maximize value-added work by owning and deciding upon priorities in the team backlog from a business perspective to streamline execution for your testing and support teams. You will be responsible for syncing team dependencies with stakeholders, test requestors and HW/SW development teams.

You and your teams will together with relevant partners around the organization see to that we have state of the art equipment like driverless steering robots, self-propelling soft targets and V2X equipment in the work to develop new world leading vehicle functions. The area of AD & ADAS testing is very congested and growing and new functionality is developed continuously. 

You will raise the bar and form our long-term vision and strategy for the AD/ADAS track testing. You will define and drive the testing vision, strategy, objectives, and key results, encouraging other teams to follow. You will also participate and lead projects in close collaboration with customer, external partners, and universities in the development of new test methods and new equipment (investments). 

Your job location is at the test track Hällered Proving Ground outside Borås but you will also need to work some days at the office in Gothenburg with the network of stakeholders and test requesters. 

You and your skills
We see that you have an M.Sc. or is an experienced B.Sc. in Mechatronics, Electronics engineering, or similar education. Hällered Proving Ground is located 70 km outside of Gothenburg and shared between Volvo Car Group and AB Volvo. With state-of-the-art test equipment we perform verification and validation activities to ensure durability, comfort, performance, reliability, and safety in our vehicles. 

The Vehicle & Rig Testing team consists of both engineers and test technicians organized in three agile teams. We perform objective verification and validation activities according to customer requirements within Vehicle Dynamics, Clearance, Driverless, Autonomous Drive and Advanced Driver Assistance System. During winter season, we also support expeditions at tracks in southern Europe.

At Hällered Proving Ground we are a tight and ambitious group working in an agile way. You will work closely with people with different technical focus, which provides unexpected possibilities to new learnings. We work closely with CAE, attribute, and construction teams in Gothenburg.

What we offer
You will work with complete vehicle testing within the area of Vehicle Dynamics (ride, handling and steering) and Clearance (engine, ground, and wheel clearance) both on test track and in rigs using state of the art measuring equipment. We support the subjective test engineers with the objective data they need for the chassis tuning and we also verify fulfillment of customer and legal requirements.

You will have a close collaboration with the customer and be responsible for planning, prepping the test object, performing the test and report the results. You will also participate in the development of new test methods and developing our rigs and equipment to meet feature needs and requirements. You will be technology and operational responsible for rigs and equipment within the group. You will also have the chance to supplier contacts and to be involved in procurement of new equipment.

Competence is Important
We see that you have a Bachelor of Science or equivalent experience as a test engineer. You will also need to have knowledge in measurement technology and signal processing as well as programming skills in Python, Matlab or similar. An interest and knowledge in cars are meritorious, as well as knowledge in vehicle dynamics and chassis technology. Swedish Driver’s license B is a must, BE is meritorious. We are a global company, and you need to be proficient in English, verbally and written, as well as having an interest and ability to travel.

What you’ll do 
As a Test Engineer in one of the AD & ADAS Track Testing teams you will use state-of-the-art equipment such as driverless steering robots and self-propelling soft targets to develop new world leading vehicle functions. The area of AD & ADAS testing is very congested and growing and new functionality is developed continuously. You will be a part of an agile team with great opportunity for self-development as well as initiate and lead development of future test methods, test systems and components. There will also be possibilities to participate in research and investment projects.
Main responsibilities
•    Plan, prepare and carry through tests both in rigs and tracks.
•    Technical and operational responsibility for rigs and equipment within the group. Both maintenance and improvements to match new testing standards.
•    In close collaboration with the stakeholders participate in the development of new test methods. 
•    Development of test equipment within the area, often in collaboration with other companies and universities.

You and your skills
We believe you have a M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Mechatronics, Electronics or similar education and good skills in Electronics, Control and Automation. You have at least 1-2 years of experience in programming, preferably in Python/Matlab. You also need to be fluent in English (spoken and written) and have a driving license B. Knowledge of measurements and signal processing, for example Vector tools as CANalyzer, CANoe and CAPL, as well as knowledge in Communication networks such as LIN, CAN, Ethernet, SOME/IP are meritorious.

What we offer
Proving Grounds is a Section within the Department “A&V Environments” with 8 teams and a total of 160 employees. Our main purpose is to operate and development our Proving Grounds and test facilities and deliver result to customers. 
The test driver teams consist of approximately 50 test drivers, divided into Night shift, A- and B-shift. The main responsibility is to perform complete vehicle testing according to a diverse set of test codes. Main responsibility of the group is to deliver both best in class vehicle reports concerning deviations and faults as well as mileage and cycles on test cars. The team supports vehicle testing at the proving grounds as well as globally by participating on number of expeditions and acts as a general resource within the company when expert drivers are needed.

What you will do
Main responsibility of the test driver is to perform complete vehicle testing according to customer specifications. Test scope vary from detailed reporting of deviations and faults in English using VIRA report tool to pure mileage and cycle accumulation tests.
The test methods cover a wide range of areas, but the main areas of testing are base engine testing, durability testing, and reliability validation. As a test driver you will be responsible for planning your workday in order to meet each customer expectations.

As a test driver you will work 2-shift according to a 6 – week cycle including one weekend. All drivers follow an internal education program were the driver starts with simpler tests at relatively low speed and then grow into more advanced and demanding test codes over a period of approximately 2 years. 

To be successful in the role as test driver you also need to: 
• Actively contact item owner/customer and describe the problems. 
• Initiate and perform base analysis of found problems including reading fault codes
• Be able to use different log equipment to collect applicable data/recordings to pinpoint the problems 
• If applicable at test end, show the test car to appropriate audience and write reports
• Be able to represent the customer in the specific project/segment and provide a customer-oriented perspective on the complete vehicle experience 
• Deliver mileage and deviation reports to the complete vehicle projects

Do You fit the profile? 
We believe that you have at least 3-year high school in technical specialization or equivalent work experience. Good communication skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written, and a strong urge to develop and improve our products. 
You have an interest for new technology a talent for vehicle software and good general computer experience. 
Furthermore, to be considered for this position you need to have a B driver’s license and pass the driving test at Hällered Proving Ground. Please note that you can’t have previous injuries or problems with your neck and/or back since you will spend quite some time on a daily basis driving cars.

Hällered Proving Ground is located 70 km outside of Gothenburg and shared between Volvo Car Group and AB Volvo. Hällered Proving Ground’s main purpose is to provide Volvo Cars, and our external customers with capacity for analysis and verification on vehicle test tracks and test equipment. The Customer Service & Traffic Management team consist of 13 employees who play a central role as we are responsible for customer service, Volvo Cars Driving Academy, and traffic management at Hällered Proving Grounds. 

The number of internal and external customers and sold services on Hällered Proving Grounds is growing rapidly and this will continue to expand in the future with increasing Active Safety and Autonomous Drive.

What you’ll do 
In this role, your main task is to coordinate and secure test capacity and capability based on the test needs of our internal and external customers. This is done by collecting customer demands and presenting offers and solutions that meets these demands. You are responsible for all customer communication throughout the test project; from booking and performing the test to invoicing and follow-up.  

You will secure resource availability on Hällered Proving Grounds (HPG) by identifying both long-term and short-term resource needs, represent HPG’s capability and capacity concerning sold and bought resources, create analyzes, KPI's and forecasts of long-term and short-term resources needed, and analyze and summarize the impact and resource occupancy from customers. 

You and your skills
With the increasing demand from our customers, we need you as a structured team player with an analytical mind and customer focus, to identify our capacity and capability to respond to our customers' requests. Du och dina kvalifikationer 
Vi söker dig som har en yrkesteknisk utbildning inom fastighetsunderhåll (VVS) och har arbetat inom underhåll. Du har tidigare erfarenhet från vattenverk/reningsverksprocesser och god kunskap inom automationssystem, till exempel SCADA samt förebyggande underhåll. Att hantera administrativa verktyg är inget problem för dig och du har goda kunskaper i svenska och engelska, i både tal och skrift. Slutligen behöver du ha B-körkort. 
Det är meriterande om du har arbetat i underhållssystem, har kunskaper inom el, svets och mekanik samt 5S.

Vi söker dig som har en yrkesteknisk utbildning inom fastighetsunderhåll (VVS) och har arbetat inom underhåll. Du har tidigare erfarenhet från vattenverk/reningsverksprocesser och god kunskap inom automationssystem, till exempel SCADA samt förebyggande underhåll. Att hantera administrativa verktyg är inget problem för dig och du har goda kunskaper i svenska och engelska, i både tal och skrift. Slutligen behöver du ha B-körkort. 
Det är meriterande om du har arbetat i underhållssystem, har kunskaper inom el, svets och mekanik samt 5S.

Your Contribution
Your primary aim will be to close the loop between CAE and proving ground testing by providing correlated digital data. In collaboration with relevant stakeholders around the organization, you will ensure that we have state-of-the-art equipment and technology to fulfill the demand with regard to the digitalization of our test tracks. 

As of now, we will divide the scope into three focus areas:
* Digital representation of road surface: Provide a database of road profiles, digital clones of public roads and point cloud for our stakeholders as input for their work as well as validating SIL/MIL/HIL environments.
*  Connectivity (v2x): Provide a dynamic road information infrastructure, monitor and implement SOTA (State-of-the-art) technologies such as WiFi, RSU, and 4/5G networks.
* Map data: Provide map data on different levels & versions and from injected/manipulated information.


Common for all three areas are that you will ensure interface knowledge between digital and physical proving grounds, you will also be responsible for creating databases and the distribution of information. You will work long-term, with data-driven maintenance and continuous improvements. 

In order to succeed you will take input from other test sites as well as collaborate with universities and other external stakeholders to develop new test methods and equipment.

What You Bring
We see that you have a Master of Science in Engineering or Civil Engineering, in addition, you will need solid experience from CAE, AD development, or civil engineering. If you have experience in vehicle testing and vehicle connectivity (WiFi, RSU, and 4/5G networks) it is beneficial. 

You have experience in leading projects, implementing new technical solutions, holding presentations, and building networks. You possess a Driving license B, are fluent in English, and preferably in Swedish as well.

Where you’ll belong
Volvo Car Group owns and operates Hällered Proving Ground. The site is located 15 km from Borås / 65 km from Gothenburg and shared between Volvo Car Group and AB Volvo. Verification and validation at proving ground is an important part of Volvo Cars development process. Then the role as Team Manager for the group ADAS/AD & Vehicle Dynamic Testing is the place for you to prosper. You will drive the strategy and set the road map for a group that consists of both test engineers, rig operators and technicians. 

We perform objective verification and validation activities according to the customers’ requirements in the area of Driverless, Autonomous Drive, Advanced Driver Assistance System, Vehicle dynamics, and Clearance. We are performing the activities in rigs and on the track. During the winter season we support expeditions at tracks in southern Europe. 

You will support the Proving Ground Management Team and be located at Proving Ground Hällered. You should also have an interest and the ability to travel.

Your Contribution
You will act as a servant leader having the complete employee responsibility including work environment and alignment of the teams to long term strategies in order to secure capacity and capability to deliver world class testing within the area. You will have to proactively work with competence development to assure the right competence in line with long term technical strategies.

We are working agile and you will collaborate closely with the teams’ POs and ScMs to assure that we are synced when supporting the teams. You will also actively participate in technical discussions so that you stay updated in the technology domain and are able to guide and coach the teams in the best way.

You will also strive to find new opportunities in collaboration with other teams to contribute to the overall result of Volvo Cars. You will have continually dialogue with Safety Centre as well as other internal and external stakeholders.

Who we are
Volvo Car Group owns and maintains Hällered Proving Ground (HPG). HPG is located 15km outside of Borås/70km outside of Gothenburg and is shared between Volvo Car Group and Volvo Group. Testing is an important part of Volvos product development process, where 
Solidity, comfort, performance, reliability and security constantly is being tested every day, every year.
HPG is a part of Volvo Cars Research & Development organization. We consist of 7 groups with a total of 160 employees, with the main function to run the facility and deliver test results to our internal customers. The maintenance department consists of 21 coworkers onsite. Everyone plays an important part in the daily operation to secure a flawless test facility, which includes roads, rigs, offices, workshops, water treatment plants, waterworks, gasoline station etc. We consider diversity to be an asset, and we believe it enhances our operations and gives us a wider competence and value base.

What you’ll do
As a maintenance engineer you will be responsible for coordination, planning and scheduling of maintenance activities towards rigs and facilities. You will support in the creation of predictive maintenance plans together with the real estate owner, securing that scheduled activities are executed within the set time frame for our different rigs/facilities. You will receive tickets/error reports and make sure that these are resolved. Focus will be to continuously manage our maintenance needs and act as HPG’s spokesperson towards the real estate owner. 
All with the aim to optimize the customer experience.
You will lead a smaller operations/facility team consisting of electricians, plumbing technicians and mechanics (occasionally also entrepreneurs, trainees and summer workers)
In the function you are also responsible to secure that we follow different regulations and laws in terms of work and environmental requirements put by authorities. You are involved in the ordering process, the creation and procurement of service agreements and maintenance projects. You are responsible for that internal controls are completed according to plan. You will lead and participate in different technical investigations.
You will be involved in the creation of different documents such as routines, instructions etc.
requiring basic computer skills.
The role might include on call service outside business hours, which will require 1-hour onsite preparedness.

Who are you?
You have an education within engineering & facility management.
Alternatively, you have been working within facility management as a project manager. 
We consider it meritorious if you have experience in leading teams and working environment regulations (BAS-U/P).
