Som Sales Engineer hos OCS kommer du att spela en nyckelroll inom bolaget. Du kommer att utveckla optimerade kundspecifika layouter baserade på deras unika modulära transportsystem. About the position
Your primary focus will be to assist industry in utilizing MAX IV (and other similar facilities), especially in the area of X-ray tomography. Your position will be at the RISE division Materials and Production, and department Manufacturing Processes. You will assist industry in translating their needs and challenges to techniques at e.g. MAX IV, most often combined with other techniques available at RISE, including laboratory tomographs. You will also support in building RISE internal X-ray tomography (imaging) competence, work closely with staff at MAX IV and ESS, and create networks with national and international specialists, within RISE and with people at other synchrotron and neutron facilities.

You will work in both academic and industrial projects with project initiation and planning, experimental design, performance of experiments at synchrotron or lab-scale facilities, data evaluation and data interpretation, and writing reports. This work will be performed in close collaboration with researchers or project leaders at RISE and in academia. You will also be part of RISE large scale research infrastructure initiative and the team of technical X-ray and neutron experts. You must also be ready to work with RISE researchers and project leaders from many different fields within RISE.

It is important that you can place the results in the perspective of industry and/or society and that you are able to compare your data with data from other techniques. You will lead projects and apply for grants to strengthen the RISE competence in the field of X-ray tomography, imaging and visualization. You will be involved in discussions with industrial partners to suggest solutions to their needs and to initiate projects with them. RISE is part of the Vinnova[1] financed competence center NEXT (Neutron and X-ray science for industrial Technology transition) which will be inaugurated in January 2024. It is expected to involve the candidate in projects associated to the NEXT competence center.

Who are you?
You are an experienced X-ray imaging (tomography) specialist with broad knowledge from different materials and questions. You have a PhD within physics, chemistry, or materials science or similar with a good overview and basic understanding of X-ray imaging methods. Important skills include:

- experience with X-ray tomography and synchrotron micro X-ray tomography.
- advanced analysis and visualisation of multidimensional (3D) datasets.
- previous involvement in multidisciplinary research projects.
- knowledge about structural studies of a wide range of complex materials (including metals) and formulations.
- experience of grant applications

Knowledge about neutron tomography is a plus, as well as a Post doc. You have good social skills and you like to work with people within projects tackling industrial challenges or to build new knowledge together with academia. The job requires a strong driving force towards innovation and knowledge building, an open mind, as well as good business and communication skills.

Hällered Proving Ground is located 70 km outside of Gothenburg and shared between Volvo Car Group and AB Volvo. With state-of-the-art test equipment we perform verification and validation activities to ensure durability, comfort, performance, reliability, and safety in our vehicles.

What we offer

Where you’ll belong
We are looking for a Product Owner to join the AD/ADAS track testing team within the group Vehicle & Rig Testing at Hällered Proving Ground. 

Hällered Proving Ground is our test track located 70 km outside of Gothenburg close to Borås. With state-of-the-art test equipment we perform verification and validation activities to ensure durability, comfort, performance, reliability, and safety in our vehicles.  

The group Vehicle & Rig Testing consists of both engineers and technicians. We perform objective verification and validation activities according to customer requirements within the areas of driverless, AD (Autonomous Drive), ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System), V2X (Vehicle to everything) and chassis objective testing (Vehicle dynamics and Clearance). We are performing the activities both in rigs and on the test track. During the winter season we also support expeditions at tracks in southern Europe and north of Sweden.

What you will do
We are looking for a passionate Product Owner for our AD, ADAS and driverless teams to drive the technical strategy forward and the development of a world class AD/ADAS track testing environment for Volvo Cars. 

As Product Owner you will maximize value-added work by owning and deciding upon priorities in the team backlog from a business perspective to streamline execution for your testing and support teams. You will be responsible for syncing team dependencies with stakeholders, test requestors and HW/SW development teams.

You and your teams will together with relevant partners around the organization see to that we have state of the art equipment like driverless steering robots, self-propelling soft targets and V2X equipment in the work to develop new world leading vehicle functions. The area of AD & ADAS testing is very congested and growing and new functionality is developed continuously. 

You will raise the bar and form our long-term vision and strategy for the AD/ADAS track testing. You will define and drive the testing vision, strategy, objectives, and key results, encouraging other teams to follow. You will also participate and lead projects in close collaboration with customer, external partners, and universities in the development of new test methods and new equipment (investments). 

Your job location is at the test track Hällered Proving Ground outside Borås but you will also need to work some days at the office in Gothenburg with the network of stakeholders and test requesters. 

You and your skills
We see that you have an M.Sc. or is an experienced B.Sc. in Mechatronics, Electronics engineering, or similar education. You have experience from agile development methodologies, and you are Fluent in English, spoken and written. For this role you will also need a Swedish Driving license B. Experience as an AD/ADAS test engineer or function developer with good skills in electronics, control and automation is meritorious.

Your Contribution
Your primary aim will be to close the loop between CAE and proving ground testing by providing correlated digital data. In collaboration with relevant stakeholders around the organization, you will ensure that we have state-of-the-art equipment and technology to fulfill the demand with regard to the digitalization of our test tracks. 

As of now, we will divide the scope into three focus areas:
* Digital representation of road surface: Provide a database of road profiles, digital clones of public roads and point cloud for our stakeholders as input for their work as well as validating SIL/MIL/HIL environments.
*  Connectivity (v2x): Provide a dynamic road information infrastructure, monitor and implement SOTA (State-of-the-art) technologies such as WiFi, RSU, and 4/5G networks.
* Map data: Provide map data on different levels & versions and from injected/manipulated information.


Common for all three areas are that you will ensure interface knowledge between digital and physical proving grounds, you will also be responsible for creating databases and the distribution of information. You will work long-term, with data-driven maintenance and continuous improvements. 

In order to succeed you will take input from other test sites as well as collaborate with universities and other external stakeholders to develop new test methods and equipment.

What You Bring
We see that you have a Master of Science in Engineering or Civil Engineering, in addition, you will need solid experience from CAE, AD development, or civil engineering. If you have experience in vehicle testing and vehicle connectivity (WiFi, RSU, and 4/5G networks) it is beneficial. 

You have experience in leading projects, implementing new technical solutions, holding presentations, and building networks. You possess a Driving license B, are fluent in English, and preferably in Swedish as well.

Vi jobbar med funktionssäkerhet och cybersäkerhet för transportsystem som vägfordon, järnväg och sjöfart. Vi har unik kompetens inom samspelet mellan funktionssäkerhet (safety) och cybersäkerhet (security). Vi deltar i stora internationella forskningsprojekt inom området verifiering och validering av säkerhet för autonoma system och i flera nationella forskningsprojekt inom safety, security och kombinationen av safety & security. Vi jobbar även i uppdrag där vi granskar kundernas innovativa produkter och vi deltar i standardiseringsgrupper samt håller kurser inom pålitliga transportsystem. Vi är idag tolv personer på enheten varav sju tekniska doktorer och fem civilingenjörer varav två genomgår doktorandutbildningar. Det finns en stor efterfrågan av våra tjänster och vi behöver därför nyanställa ytterligare en person till vår enhet.

Då rollen innebär kontakt med kunder, internationella partners och andra intressenter tror vi att du trivs i sociala sammanhang och gillar att omvandla idéer till praktisk användning och förståelse.

Vi ser att du har en civilingenjörsutbildning, gärna med inriktning mot cybersäkert, pålitliga datorsystem, programvara eller IT system. Det är meriterande om du har några års arbetslivserfarenhet och erfarenhet av projektledning eftersom de forskningsprojekt vi deltar i leds av en intern projektledare på RISE. Vi ser gärna att du är disputerad men det är inget krav. Vi är även öppna för att anställa dig som är nyexaminerad civilingenjör och som har läst passande kurser för vår verksamhet. Då våra samarbetspartners både finns i och utanför Sverige krävs att du har god förmåga att uttrycka dig i tal och skrift både på svenska och engelska.

Om tjänsten
Som Testingenjör / Valideringsingenjör på Mont Blanc arbetar du med olika typer av produkttestning, samt utveckling och ständiga förbättringar av metoder och verktyg för produktkvalificering.

I rollen som Testingenjör / Valideringsingenjör ingår:
- Hantering av master samples – utfallsprover och färdiga produkter
- Utveckling av lagerhållningsmetodik och index
- Utveckling av arbete i IMDS
- Sammanställa och skicka PPA/PPAP till kunder
- Rapportskrivning
- Dokumentation och administration

Rollen som Testingenjör / Valideringsingenjör innebär ett nära samarbete med utvecklingsavdelningen. Du kommer även att ha breda kontaktytor externt med leverantörer och kunder.

Som Testingenjör / Valideringsingenjör arbetar du på Mont Blancs anläggning i Toarpsdal, mellan Dalsjöfors och Äspered, ca 1,5 mil från Borås.

Du rapporterar till Quality Manager.

Du kommer initialt att vara anställd hos Speed Professionals och hyras ut till Mont Blanc, med goda möjligheter för rätt person till fast anställning hos Mont Blanc.

Din profil
Vi söker dig som brinner för kvalitetssäkring och kontinuerlig förbättring! För att lyckas i tjänsten som om Testingenjör / Valideringsingenjör har du erfarenhet från likande arbete inom tillverknings- eller fordonsindustrin och är utbildad högskole- alt. gymnasieingenjör.

Krav:
- Minst 1 års erfarenhet av Production Part Approval Process (PPAP)
- Minst 1 års erfarenhet av från fordonsindustrin
- Högskoleingenjör alt. gymnasieingenjör
- Mycket goda kunskaper i vårt koncernspårk engelska, primärt i skrift
- Goda kunskaper i svenska

Meriterande:
- Rumänska språkkunskaper
